New Sensor corp put an incredible amount of effort into copying the original in both construction and tone. Looking for a better tube is pointless. They got it right down to the classic saw-tooth edge plate construction.

If you need stable DC voltage, look no further. It's wise to invest in a good GZ34 as these rectifiers run hot and the cheap ones burn out quickly.
