Remove the headlight from the vehicle and replace it with a new one. Install the new headlight assembly. Hold the new headlight in place, making sure the screws, clips, or retaining springs used are sealed. Reconnect the wires removed from the components.
Put back the grille and other components you removed. Seal them back in place. How to adjust the headlight assembly? Check the alignment of the lights first. Park the vehicle about 10 to 25 feet away from the wall with the light pointed at the wall. The centerline of the headlights should not be 3.5 feet above the ground. The headlights should be adjusted one at a time. Put a rag or towel on the chair in front of the light you want to block. NOTE: Directly covering the lamp assembly will damage the plastic lens. The screw on the top of the lampshade should be turned clockwise to raise the lamp and counterclockwise to lower the lamp. The headlamp should be adjusted until the top of the most intense part of the beam is directly on the center of the tape line on the wall or just below the center of the tape line.
